The Battle of Bunker Hill - CoS

We started with Virgil basking in the warmth of his new toy up on the second story of the winery. We were about to turn and ask Dante where he though we should go next when he says mechanically, "I am not left handed!" and then Transformer style transforms into Banshee...fully charged and ready to burn through his fresh battery. As we continue to search the premises, we realize that the circular stone pillars acted as ramps to roll the wine barrels up or down the stairs and that they also extended to below ground to a cellar. after we cleared all rooms on the first and second floor, we descended down below, splitting up with Dorol, Virgil and Banshee going down one ramp and Castel and Eravan down another. In this cellar, we saw that it was divided into two sections and separated by a think wall with a passage. The side that Castel and Eravan descended into was full of empty shelves where wine bottles would have been but the other side where Banshee, Virgil and Dorol entered had a full shelf. Dorol was like a kid in a candy store, giggling and clapping for joy. Yet, that joy did not last long because hiding behind the case was another druid and at least 5 stick men. Virgil feeling the desire to try his new blade, immediately sprang into action taking down 2 of the stick men. Hearing the commotion Eravan rushes over. Yet, he perceives as he walks through the short corridor that separates to the 2 areas an intense cold that comes from the wall, even icy fog. But he has not time for the cold! His friends are in the heat of battle and he must try to help. The druid, realizing that he has too many foes on his heels, casts Thunder Wave, knocking both Castel and Eravan against the wall (though Eravan is able to absorvb some of the forcef). Banshee and Dorol then rush in and cut down the druid and the twiggies on that side. Castel and Eravan blast the others on their side and the dust settles. Oh, I forgot to mention that the wave of thunder destroyed the wine leaving Dorol to turn his tears of happiness to tears of sorrow. As we return to Daren, the owner of the winery, we see him conversing with a raven. We approach a little cautiously but at the same time with many questions which Virgil starts peppering him with. It turns out, his family and a couple of friends are were ravens and can communicate with the birds and then can also turn into giant ravens. The ravens have been acting as his spies on the land and yes on us because he was wanting to know if we were friend or foe. Castiel becomes quite fascinated with this ability. On his part, Daren asks us if by chance we found a large red glowing stone. We hadn't and he explains that this stone is one of a set of three that they used to all have. One was last when Erwin, the barkeeper back in town, lost it some time ago while on duty to guard the stones. Another was stolen by the witch Babi Yaga (spelling?) who sent her scare crow cronies to do her bidding. Daren surmises that the 5th druid must have gotten away with it. He pleads us to please go try and retrieve it since these stones are what allows the vineyard to continue to flourish even while the curse continues to destroy most harvests. Dorol sanctimoniously tells the group that it is our duty to retrieve the stone to help these poor wine producers and that it is a mission of extreme importance. We agree to quickly retrieve the stone and set out after a quick break. We follow the path that leads to a hill on the edge of the curses land. We can see the mists of despair hugging the edge of a hill that is the druids locale. Behind it, we see a city on a larger hill and can even hear the church bells ringing in the distance...just outside the unholy misty wall. We silently creep onto the druids camp and see them encircling a large wooden statue.
They are ritual casting an animation spell and also are placing the stolen magical stone into a chest cavity of the statue. We synchronous our attack, Eravan, eager to try a new fiery explosive spell will begin the attack with the other 4 rushing in to fight hand to hand. Things look like they are going well when one of the druids yell, "WE ARE UNDER ATTACK! (Eravan thinks is no surprise since he just landed a bomb in their midst) but adults do silly things. Out of know where, pop up 6 axe wielding, crazed looking fighters! These were not in our equation for the battle. Castiel decides now is the time for lighting up his area and turns on his Assimaar power, burning 4 combatants around him little by little. He even turns 2 of them into zombies (though not realizing what he is doing, burns the 1st one up immediately with his radiance). Banshee takes on a druid and after he dispatches him, turns him into a Specter. Even Virgil uses his blood oath thing-a-ma-gig creepy power and makes one fallen berserker to attack a friend before he finally dies (for those who are supposedly the good guys, we really have a necromatic way of doing things). We finally defeat the druids, Dorol picks up a new shiny battle axe from one of the fallen berserker and we get the stone to return it to the winers. This whole time, Castiel has been thinking about what he could do to convince the were-ravens to turn him into one so when we get back to the winery, he approaches Daren and asks, "If I perform a ritual that will help double the growth the plants in your vineyard...oh for 1/2 a mile all around, would you be willing to turn me into a were-raven? Daren accepts his offer and we leave Castiel here to perform the service while we go back to Vilacki (spelling?) to deliver the wine (Dorol the whole way is taking "quality control samples". We know that Castiel can catch up pretty quickly (you know, as the crow flies). As we enter the city, Virgil notices a creepy toy store and goes in to find the place riddled with toys that should never be made; wooden dolls, carousels with skeletal bodies, etc. He asks about the dolls to the toy maker and he says, "that is what is asked for." Virgil tells him about Isaac's weird collection and the shop owner goes all pale with fear because Isaac has been bullying the shop owners in the area, demanding gifts and things for "protection" (aka, I won't burn your shop to the ground because...oh I can). I believe Virgil decides to not join us and goes straight to confront the bully. And, that is where we left off. Castiel is getting an early Christmas gift, Virgil going rogue, and the rest of us going back to the Inn to deliver the wine...oh and talk with Erwin about the missing stone. Our goal is to help retrieve the missing 2 stones (Dorol will think of nothing else! "With the other 2 stones returned, the quality of the wine will return to its glory days and I...I mean the people will be able to find some comfort and joy in this cursed place!"
